摘要

It has been a decade since Taiwan adopted coerced addiction treatment for schedule II drug use offenders; however, there is lack of study examining the clinical profiles of these individuals. Also, little is known regarding the effectiveness of the current coerced treatment program. We first systematically assessed the socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of individuals enrolled in coerced addiction treatment of schedule II drugs. Second, we aimed to examine the effectiveness of “case management” system on coerced addiction treatment program. Third, we conducted a thorough urine examination of individuals who reported to use new psychoactive substances (NPS) to fill in the knowledge gap of NPS in Taiwan.
